A delicious dinner is planned for Sept. 28 at the Black Creek Bistro, owned by IFO member Kent Peters who has offered his restaurant as a venue not only to help sustain IFO as an organization but also to show case producers. Lisa Schacht will donate golden yukon potatoes, J.B. King, his pork, Mary Bridgman, her greens and heritage tomatoes, Warren Taylor, his dairy products, and Dale King of Oakvale Cheese and Chris Chieml will donate their cheeses. Kent Peters has also allowed his servers and chef will donate their time and there will be some music by a light jazz group. In addition to good food, well-presented in a bistro atmosphere, there will be an opportunity for each producer to speak to his/her production methods and answer questions.
